Step up a Level with Adult Education Wolverhampton

Residents wanting to get onto a fast track to university or a new career are being encouraged to find out about Level 3 courses at Adult Education Wolverhampton.

Residents wanting to get onto a fast track to university or a new career are being encouraged to find out about Level 3 courses at Adult Education Wolverhampton.

Level 3 qualifications are designed to give people the skills they need to go on to university or enter the world of work.

Subjects include Art and Design, Business and Law, Education, Health including midwifery and nursing, Music Technology and Social Science/Social Work. Participants can also work towards becoming teaching assistants and Early Years educators.

People are invited to come along to open days at Adult Education Wolverhampton, Old Hall Street, on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 17 May, 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm
  • Thursday 18 May, 10am-1pm
  • Wednesday 7 June, 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm
  • Thursday 8 June, 10am-1pm.

Sue Knottenbelt, Head of Adult Education Wolverhampton, said “We offer many opportunities for students to study at Level 3. They are open to people aged 19 or over who want to secure new qualifications and get on the fast track to university or a new career.

“To find out more, please come along to one of our open days where our friendly and informative staff will be on hand to give people all the information they need to make a start.”

Jessica Grant, who completed a Level 3 Access to Higher Education Social Science Diploma, said: “Adult Education Wolverhampton offered me the flexibility to study around my commitments, and the environment was reassuring and helped me to overcome my anxieties. I successfully completed the Level 3 diploma and am now at university studying Special Needs Education and Inclusion.”

Adam Howells, who completed the Level 3 Foundation Diploma Art and Design, added: “I joined the Level 3 course with the intention to build on my skills and move on to university. The staff at Adult Education Wolverhampton were brilliant; I learnt a great deal from them and am excited about my future.”
