Chelsea forward Eden Hazard claims to have made a decision on his future – but has refused to elaborate on what it might be.
The 28-year-old is into the final 18 months of his contract and has yet to extend his deal, despite being offered new terms which would make him the highest-paid player in Chelsea’s history.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Hazard, with the Belgium international previously admitting it is his “dream” to play for the Spanish club.
“I know what I am going to do,” Hazard told French radio station RMC.
“I have made a decision.”
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri recently revealed he was not expecting a decision from Hazard over whether to extend his contract or seek a move away until the summer.
“He’s not decided yet if he wants to stay here or if he wants a new experience in another club,” Sarri said.
“I don’t know exactly the situation, but I think Eden at the moment doesn’t know the final choice.”
Hazard joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012 and since helped the club to win two Premier League titles, scoring 104 goals in 331 appearances.
