Walsall residents don’t have long to wait until the first of four bonfire and fireworks displays begin lighting up the borough’s sky.

The bonfire events will take place at Holland Park Brownhills on Saturday 27 October, at Willenhall Memorial Park on Thursday 1 November, at Walsall Arboretum on Saturday 3 November and at King George V Playing Fields Bloxwich on Monday 5 November.
Councillor Louise Harrison, cabinet member for Clean and Green said:
“Clean and Green have worked hard in planning this series of fireworks extravaganzas for the whole family to enjoy. They have been planned to take place over 10 days so that everyone has the opportunity to attend one of the events.”

“I’m pleased that we’re able to offer organised bonfire and fireworks displays like these as they give our communities the chance to enjoy spectacular displays in a safe environment and without having to travel too far.”

All four of these events will include funfairs and catering stalls as well as the traditional wooden pallet bonfires and fireworks.
