Tourism Ireland is offering you the opportunity to win four tickets for Saturday’s play as The Open returns to the historic Royal Portrush links for the first time since 1951.
Tickets for the four days of competition in this summer’s Championship sold out in record time, with 190,000 golf fans set to produce an incredible atmosphere from the moment the opening tee shot is struck shortly after 6:30am on Thursday morning.
Royal Portrush is the home club of 2011 Open champion Darren Clarke, whose win at Royal St George’s combined with the major victories of compatriots Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell, as well as the hugely-successful staging of the Irish Open in 2012, paved the way for the popular move to take The Open back there after a 68-year absence.
